You accommodated the first service on my 2025 Suburban (5K miles) but were unable to trouble shoot the automatic function for second row driver side seat.

I had a VERY great experience at Bill Hood Chevrolet. Excellent service from each individual I was in contact with. Toby Bryant, Rogers Serpas and Brad Lasalle! I have and will continue to refer to this dealership.

Oil change as expected. As them to torque bolts, done as expected, and had them look for a noisy pulley....still not found. Still looking.

The experience was pretty simple, but I believe more time could have been spent explaining the additional purchases, such as extended warranty and wheel/tire coverage.

My salesman Bill could not have been any more helpful. He listened to my needs and never asked me to reconsider. The men in finances and final paperwork were the best! I Highly recommend this dealership to everyone!

Brought our Brand new GMC Yukon in after a found transmission coolant line leak to be repaired. After the initial conversation and the expectation of delivery of new parts to repair i did not hear form the service advisor for 4 days. I tried multiple times calling and leaving messages with no reply. after the 5th day I was able to get in touch with the service advisor and he mentioned it was still getting worked on. My wife was out of a vehicle, for a week and put a strain on trying to share a vehicle with no offering of a rental for a warranty fix on a care that has 400miles on it. The ask is to just keep the client informed even though it may take longer than initially quoted i would have understood , but the radio silence was unfortunate.

My salesman Greg was Great. Brad Pitt was Great!! The finance managers are Shady as they come! They added extended warranty's & other hidden cost in my loan without consulting with me 1st.. That may be the way they do business but it's not the way I do business... I will not purchase from Bill Hood again!!

Bill was very good and told me just what was done and explained everything clearly. I was a bit upset because none of my other vehicles ever had the check engine light come on until after 100,000 miles of service and that was to change the plugs. As you know, I recently purchased a pre-owned, certified 2023 Suburban-Premier. It allegedly has a clear 'CARFAX' showing no accidents/repairs. I completed my purchase on Thursday (December 11th) only to discover a major problem on the front passenger-side door over the weekend. The door had been poorly repaired, repainted but in a greenish shade that is in no way comparable to the car's bright, white finish. In fact, there was obvious paint overspray evident on the door's weatherstripping--which should have been caught when the vehicle was prepped for sale and unnoticed by Hood's 122-point inspectors. In any case, this damage was not disclosed to me prior to the purchase. The car has since been inspected by Hood's salesman, who assured me it would be brought to the business manager for resolution. So far, no further contact has been made by Hood. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed with this purchase, the lack of communication once the paintwork-damage issue was inspected, and Hood's apparent indifference to a repeat customer. I shopped for a certified pre-owned Chevrolet for the peace of mind that purchase would bring. Yet now, I feel duped. Took my wife's car in for check engine light issue, possible battery issue, noise from the clutch on air conditioner, & oil change & tire rotation. The check engine light was a loose vacuum hose; the battery was ok although I think the posts may have been cleaned. The air conditioner clutch was ruled normal and of course the oil change and tire rotation all completed within a short time & saved me money on what I thought I would have spent. I really like Bill Hood Service Department for their reliability & trustworthiness.

Bill Hood service dept in Covington had my Silverado in the shop 2 full days. I have had check engine light issues in the past and could not be diagnosed or find out what is wrong. I also had my oil changed and a tire rotation performed which is always excellent. I have to bring my Silverado back into the shop next week because now a code P1178 is showing up. This 2 star rating is mainly to GM and the Silverado engineers. Please forward to GM asap. My truck has been babied all 91,000 miles and is clean as a whistle. Mostly highway miles. I’m at the point where I have lost confidence in my truck and do not feel safe and secure to take it on a vacation. It’s sad!! And after doing my homework and talking to many people I’m not a customer by myself. I would love to hear from the service manager and GM!! WOW! I found myself a new service department! I have a GMC and was driving out to Hammond from Mandeville for services, but a ding remover referred us to you, so glad he did! The Tech reinstalled the glove box incorrectly and never verified that it would open & shut. I checked it after getting back in the car and went back inside to notify the service rep. He called a Supervisor and he brought the Suburban back into the shop to fix the broken glove box. Quality control to verify that it was reinstalled correctly would be the first option. Had i not checked it would have been my problem to convince the dealership that it wasn't my fault.

oil change went well as far as I know, just don't understand why the Chevy dealer would tell me they couldn't run my truck through the carwash because they couldn't get the antenna off? Came off real easy when I got home.

The service was excellent. The problem on the other hand has me upset because the last 14 brand new purchases I have made, none of them have had 3 services before 5500 miles of use. This is the first time I have experienced needed service 3 times before 100,000 miles! The truck runs good has good response but the electronics and electrical problems are an issue.

This is the second time a car that I bought less than six months ago from this dealership was back in need of some type of service. Disappointment is definitely an understatement Mark in the service department was very upfront and honest with me about the costs and I greatly appreciate that. I wish that Mark would’ve been the one that checked over this car for problems before I purchased it. I find it incredible that we’ve had issues with it. Multiple issues with it and we’ve had it less than six months.

Our salesman, Mr Bill Chaucer was great. He was patient, reasonable, and explained everything I had questions about. If not for the singing, constantly joking Mr Brad Pitt who focuses more on telling jokes and making things awkward when all you want to do is get your temp tag and leave, I would have given 5 stars. My first choice for my next vehicle purpose would still be Bill Hood, but when it comes time to get my temp tag, I will let whoever is with me get it while I wait outside. Or, let him wear a clown costume with a red nose you can honk so you know what you are walking into.

I dropped off my car for a oil change and tire rotation. The dealership has a transportation service, they gave me ride to work. The service department called when my car was ready to be picked up. Could not be easier.

I brought my 2023 Suburban to Bill Hood Chevrolet to address a malfunctioning lock/unlock button on the exterior passenger door handle, along with squeaking brakes and the need for new tires. At pickup, the door lock issue appeared to be resolved and the tires had been installed. However, while driving home, I discovered that the passenger-side mirror would no longer adjust using the controls, and the blind spot indicator light on that mirror was also no longer functioning. In other words, while one issue was fixed, another was created in the process. It is extremely concerning that these functions were apparently not checked before the vehicle was returned to me. The following morning, while leaving for work, the low tire pressure warning illuminated for two of the brand-new tires that had just been installed. Upon inspection, my husband discovered that the valve stem cores on all four tires were loose and leaking air. He had to tighten them himself. This level of negligence is unacceptable, especially for something as basic and critical as a tire installation inspection. As a result, my Suburban now has to return to Bill Hood Chevrolet so the service department can attempt to repair damage that did not exist prior to my visit. This has created a major inconvenience for my family. We are a two-vehicle household with four children heavily involved in sports and extracurricular activities, while my husband works full time. We rely on having both vehicles available every day. Despite the fact that this issue was caused during service — and despite the vehicle being covered under an extended warranty — Bill Hood Chevrolet has refused to provide a loaner or rental vehicle. Overall, my experience with this dealership has been extremely disappointing and far below the level of professionalism and quality I expected.

Said my wife’s car had a blown head gasket and needed 7500$ to replace it but didn’t know if it would work and might cost another 11,000$ to replace the entire motor. Brought it to another mechanic and paid to have them check it, nothing wrong. Dealership mechanic was trying to scam us.

If this was just rating the salesman, I'd give it 5 stars. Mr. Bill Chaucer was top notch. He didn't make me feel rushed and took the time to find the exact vehicle that I wanted. Since the rating is for the dealership, I can't give 5 stars. The rest of the experience was less than stellar. The finance office tried to get me to sign on a higher interest rate than I knew I could get. When pushed, he finally agreed to find a lower interest rate, which he did. He also attempted to charge additional fees. He wanted $995.00 for a so-called "administrative fee"! When my wife complained, he said he had spoken to some other manager and he had agreed to waive the fee. Obviously, the fee was not warranted to begin with. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm still not sure if I got a good deal or if I was ripped off. If you decide to go to Hood Chevrolet, be sure to ask for Mr. Bill. He'll definitely take care of you. Maybe just line up your financing before you go. I wish I had.

When I set up my appointment on the app, I requested only an oil change (not a tire rotation or maintenance). I was rescheduled because the app overbooked appointments. However, when my husband brought my vehicle, they did a full maintenance work up as well as an oil change. And then they would not honor using my points for payment because we didn’t tell them ahead of time- even though I had already set that up on the app when I originally scheduled and wasn’t made aware that I had to ask again at the appointment. The clerk in sales was also not very helpful or kind either.

Had oil changed and tires rotated on my 2024 Silverado. Check in was easy and everyone I came in contact with was very friendly and polite. That service dept is by far the best service dept I have ever dealt with. I like them so much I bring my Cadillac CT5 there for service also. The Service Department personnel are professional and deserve the 5 Star rating. The waiting room experience though gets a 1 Star rating. Coffee was available and several rooms to quietly wait for your vehicle to be serviced or repaired. Snacks while you wait? Sure. Go Vending Machine shopping. I will go back to the Subaru Dealership for my next service who has a great selection of fruits/treats and a Super Big screen TV. Even my wife’s Toyota Dealership around the corner on the I-12 Service Road waiting room offers TV, Coffee/Capuchino machine, variety of Teas and randomly fun treat day while you wait; specialty ice cream truck, ladies manicures.
